UNESCO-CEPES Publishing

Projects carried out by UNESCO-CEPES as well as meetings organized by the Centre, intend, among other things, to promote exchanges of points of view and the sharing of knowledge among policy-makers and academics on subjects of particular significance to higher education in the Europe Region. An effort is made to publicize such outcomes through publications as well as its information services, in particular those provided on the website.

All UNESCO-CEPES publications are available in a printed form, as well as on-line (free of charge with the exception of the English-language version of the quarterly review Higher Education in Europe) on the Center’s website.
 

The titles presented here are those published since 2000. Visitors interested in all the titles published prior to that year should refer to the Archive of this section.

UNESCO-CEPES publications include:

• Higher Education in Europe, a quarterly review funded in 1975 and published in three language versions: English, French and Russian. The quarterly deals with major issues and trends in the field of contemporary higher education;

• Monographs on Higher Education series, which presents national systems of higher education written according to a common outline.

• Papers on Higher Education series, which presents shorter studies and occasional papers;

• Studies on Higher Education series, which presents comprehensive reports on and analyses of major issues in higher education;

• Studies on Science and Culture series, which publishes the findings of research undertaken by UNESCO Chairs collaborating with UNESCO-CEPES;

• Higher Education for A Knowledge Society series
