UNESCO-CEPES Publishing
Knowledge
sharing and dissemination to stakeholders (researchers,
policy-makers and interested actors in the field of higher
learning) is one of the key services provided by NESCO-CEPES.
Via its publications, website, databases and information
services, the Centre focuses its outreach on varied and
diverse topics and issues of particular significance in
Eastern, Central and South-East Europe.
The Centre’s publications regularly fill (but are not
limited to) five series, which can be ordered via our
website, or downloaded in pdf format:
Monographs on Higher Education, which presents comprehensive
analyses of national systems of higher education in Europe
Region;
Papers on Higher Education,
which are typically shorter studies and occasional papers on
a wide variety of subjects related to higher education;
Studies on Higher Education,
which are dedicated to comprehensive reports on and analyses
of major issues in higher education;
Studies on Science and Culture,
which document research findings and debates, particularly
those generated by UNESCO Chairs, in subject areas other
than higher education;
Higher
Education for a Knowledge Society, which is a
joint series between UNESCO-CEPES and Cluj University Press,
dedicated to substantial research on contemporary trends in
higher education.
The journal
Higher Education in Europe was published in
cooperation with Rutledge Press UK from 1975 to 2009. An
archive of articles and free downloads of French and Russian
